The ACRL Research, Planning and ReviewCommittee, a component of the ResearchCoordinating Committee, is responsible forcreating and updating a continuous anddynamic environmental scan for the associationthat encompasses trends in academiclibrarianship, higher education, and thebroader environment. As a part of this effort,the committee develops a list of the top tentrends that are affecting academic librariesnow and in the near future.
